THE BEST OF PROVENCE
Your tour of Provence will begin in one of the most beautiful and historical villages in Provence, St Remy de Provence, where you will be based for 7 nights/8 days. You will stay in a typical Provençal boutique hotel, just a short walk to the village center. It will be our pleasure to plan and escort your private journey along the back roads and thru the beautiful villages of Provence, where you will experience the best of everything the region has to offer, with something included for everyone in your group. You will explore hill towns such as Gordes, Roussillion, the famous market town of Isle sur la Sorgue, Aix en Provence, and Arles. You will walk thru lavender fields, visit the Alpilles towns of St Remy de Provence and Les Baux, tour historical sites such as the Abbaye de Senanque, Palace of the Popes in the medieval city of Avignon, the Pont du Gard and much more. We will have a private wine tasting in a cave and a private tour of a beautiful vineyard in the town of Chateauneuf de Pape, all at your own pace. We will also visit the beautiful Mediterranean fishing village of Cassis, including a cruise to view the spectacular calnaques, followed by a private wine tasting at our personal friend's family owned vineyard.
You will also dine in some of the finest Provencal restaurants in the region.
